It was fun, but not as scary as we were led to believe. Maybe it's terribly thrilling for some, but as surfers, we thought the rapids were...tame.

That is, now that I'm actually getting married, the next time I visit my parents, I'm going to dig up the old 8mm films my dad made of my brother and me as kids. I mean, I don't consider myself worthy of a National Geographic special. I would just feel too self-concious seeing myself as the subject of a documentary. I also don't want anything too cheesy (no slow 80s love songs) or excrutiatingly boring unedited raw footage.
